Westie Rescue is thrilled to be participating in this year’s, Wagathon Walkathon
Wagathon Walkathon will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012. This annual charity dog walk promises to be another success. Last year there were 300 participants and raised $8,500. This year the goal is to have over 500 participants and raise over $10k.
Wagathon Walkathon http://www.wagathonwalkathon.com is a 2.5 mile dog walk around The Hill Country Galleria's Hike and Bike trail. There will be multiple water stations and five rest stops around the track.

If you are in the Central Texas area, you don’t want to miss the Mighty Texas Dog Walk this year on Saturday, April 7, 2012! http://www.servicedogs.org/dogwalk12/ at Town Lake’s Auditorium Shores. This annual event is a fund raiser for the Texas Hearing and Service Dogs organization which is a non-profit organization that trains Service Dogs and Hearing Dogs to assist people with disabilities. Excellent opportunity to benefit a great service organization, get some exercise and spend some time with a whole bunch of fellow dog lovers! Westie Rescue will be walking again this year!

This event is hosted by No Kill Wilco and sponsored by Central Texas Harley Davidson. Each month can have a variety of rescue groups in attendance. Definitely worth checking out!
